The Anchor Boys meet on Thursday evenings in Freeland Church between 6.20 and 7.30 pm
The Officer in Charge is Iris Simmet (01505 690232).

The Junior Section meets on Fridays evenings in St Machar’s Ranfurly Church Hall between 6.30 and 8 pm
The Officer in Charge is Brent Dorey (0141 884 8852).

The Company Section meets on Friday evenings in Freeland Church between 7.15 and 10 pm.
The Officer in Charge is Eric Thomson (01505 872932).

Recruiting
The Junior Section and the Anchor Boys are having a special recruiting campaign at the Primary School, using attractive coloured leaflets.

Adult Leaders
If all the eligible Boys transfer from the Junior Section, the Company Section will have 31 Boys, 9 more than last session.

This presents us with a real problem due to lack of leaders. Surely there are a couple of members of the congregation who would be prepared to get involved. We now have 11 boys of S4 and S5 age, and this, as well as being a challenge for the Company, is a great opportunity for the church.

BB@Braehead
The Battalion is holding a big display in the Food Hall at Braehead on Saturday 29th September. All 3 BB sections will be involved - Anchor Boys, Junior Section and Company Section. Our Company is due to take part in the Gymnastics display.
